“Siren Call” by Josalyn Fahler

The wind pushes the ship
A song cries out mournful from the distance
Leaving the sailors
Drunk on song
The cold ocean accompanying
Splish splash
Swish swash
They stumble and trip around
Following the call of death
Heading the sirens calls
